August Highlights in Naxos

🎭 1. Axia International Music Festival — Halki (mid‑August)

Held in the picturesque village square of Halki, the Axia Festival showcases world-class musicians performing in a beautifully atmospheric setting. The three-day event often includes live music, art installations, lectures, and environmental workshops, with free entry supported by local sponsors 

🎼 2. Demetria Festival — Sagri (first week of August)

Set at the historic Temple of Demeter courtyard, the Demetria Festival blends agrotourism, music, theatre, and exhibitions by Greek artists. Stalls offer local produce and cultural showcases, with evening performances in a 17th-century monastery garden 

🎶 3. ALEA III Summer Meetings — Naxos & Paros (August 21–31, 2025)
