Flavors of the Land
Wild Herbs – The Aromatic Signature
Naxos is blessed with sun-dried oregano, sage, thyme, and bay leaf, harvested from the island’s hills. These fragrant herbs season grilled meats, salads, and teas — and taste best when bought fresh and local.
Golden Honey – Nature’s Sweetness
Thyme honey from local hives is amber, intensely aromatic, and smooth in texture. Drizzle it over cheese, yogurt, or just spread on bread for a classic island snack.
Spices That Tell Stories
Festive sweets and liqueurs often include cinnamon, clove, star anise, or nutmeg — each spice carrying history and flavor in every bite or sip.
