Artistic Vision & Themes
Curated under the theme “Art – Science – Environment”, the festival promotes a creative dialogue between entertainment, knowledge, and ecological awareness.
The concept extends to art installations using natural materials and sustainable methods, intertwining local heritage with avant-garde expression.

“The Thread That Holds Us Together” by Maria Grigoriou & Yiannis Papadopoulos
A large-scale, site-specific installation located inside Bazeos Tower, celebrating traditional weaving through contemporary sculpture.
Open daily (10:00–17:00), closed Mondays.

July Highlights
July 6/7 (Sun), 21:30 – FutureCargo: Innovative sci-fi dance by the Greek National Opera, staged inside a 12-meter transport truck; attendees listen via headphones for a multisensory experience.
July 24 (Thu), 21:30 – ÆGN: Jazz soundscapes by French composer Marc Buronfosse, blending Aegean melodies with improvisation and live video art.
July 30 (Wed), 20:30 – The Zoo of Sounds: A theatrical musical performance of animal-themed children’s songs by Giorgis Christodoulou and ensemble.
🎓 Academic & Community Dialogue
A two-day Conference on Sustainable Development, held on May 31–June 1, co-organized with Panteion University, brings together scholars and locals to explore ecological action for Naxos’ future.
